Sources and data coverage

This page separates checked reference resources from evidence for the numbers on NationAnalytics. A publisher offering a similar indicator does not prove where our existing value came from.

Sources matched to current values

Fifteen observations are reconciled: population, GDP and GDP per capita for United States, Canada, Australia, Germany and Sri Lanka, all for 2025. Each of those country profiles cites the exact World Bank observation. No other metric or country inherits that citation. Canada and Sri Lanka population figures are marked preliminary.

Population, GDP and GDP per capita pilot: United States, Canada, Australia, Germany and Sri Lanka, common reference year 2025. Other countries and metrics remain source unknown; all-country ordering is not a same-year comparison. All three are direct publisher observations; GDP per capita is not calculated locally. Reference resources by topic

The World Bank entries support only the fifteen individually cited pilot observations. The OECD entry remains methodology-only. No entry establishes the provenance of every value on the site.

Salary definitions · Methodology explanation only

OECD: Average annual wages — indicator explanation

Used only to illustrate why salary definitions matter. NationAnalytics legacy salaries have not been matched to this series; they must not inherit its methodology, price basis or coverage.

Coverage: Publisher-covered economies only; no claim of coverage of all 197 NationAnalytics records.

The checked explanation expresses results in 2025 prices; this is a price basis, not a reference year for NationAnalytics salaries. Update cadence: not verified on the checked page.

What remains unknown

Costs, tax assumptions, salary definitions, comparative indices, safety, healthcare, education, migration information, university ranks and qualitative descriptions still need value-level evidence. Population, GDP and GDP per capita outside the five-country pilot remain unmatched. A familiar institution name is not a substitute for that evidence.
